trackback

We got up at 6am for a tide run. A little foggy but not bad. Checked on the crab pot that I had moved closer to the creek. Three big ones about 7 ¼” and another legal size one. Two other boats were in the inlet with us. Calm seas at times, some chop. Not many boats out here, saw one sailboat. Current with us mostly and a little against us. Later afternoon the skies cleared up beautifully, not a cloud in site. At the anchorage we saw another sailboat and after we settled in another sailboat came in. Lots of islets in this area. We cooked all the crab at once. Also had homemade bread, soup, salad. Too much food, most ate only a half a crab. 11 hrs of motoring, 65.3 nm, no sailing, switched to fuel tank # 2. 546.7 nm on tank one, with 72.5 miles of sailing since the fill up. So 11.7% of sailing.
