Sunny and nice most of the day. We took the inside thru narrow Jackson Passage, Tenacity took the outside like we did last year and managed to shave off 5 miles. Winds were good for part of our way so got some sailing in. Near the head of the inlet is what we thought was a crab pot left by someone as the line was over grown with green sargassy moss like stuff. I set my pot further in. Came back later and got one good sized crab. Checked on the other float and noticed it was tied to a piling about six inches underwater when the tide was at 5.6’. We had a group dinner with chicken thighs, pasta with salmon and pesto, home made bread with jelly or honey, dark chocolate for dessert. Alpen glow sunset now at 9:57pm. 569.0 miles with 12.3 sailing for the day.
