We are about 10 miles east of Loreto on an island called Isla Carmen in a cove called

Puerto Ballandra. 86 degs F, 60% humidity, water 79 F, winds 5 up to 12 kts from the south east. Sometimes it gets calm here. No bees as long as you keep no fresh water around on the outside of the boat. At night we take our big hatch screen down for better air circulation.

Yesterday we did some snorkeling and saw a lot of fish. Today we are headed for a hike for a view of the cove here. We were down to 3 sailboats here, but another sailboat arrived and recently a big 100 foot yacht dropped their anchor on the far side of the cove from us. Sunday the 23rd I’m slated to be the Net Controller for the Amigo Net, that Jake Howard (s/v JAKE) is the Net Manager.

We are slowly headed to El Burro Cove, Bahia Concepcion for the 4th of July that Geary the Sonrisa HAM Net weather man hosts at his home on the beach every year.
