Friday we went to the Art Walk in the Central Area of Mazatlan with Mike & Janet of s/v La Volante Frances Jane and Mark from another boat I don’t know the name. One of the places was a house with many quilts that a lady made. Many were small but a Seahawks quilt grabbed our attention. Another house had a very nice inviting pool. I checked the temp and seemed adequate. At a restaurant stop with art, a large tree was growing up above with roots that were about 12 feet long running down the wall into the ground. You need to look carefully to see the tree above.

It was much cheaper to stay a week here due to a price break. We’re working on boat projects. We’ll probably leave for La Cruz & PV on Tuesday the 7th with harbor hopping along the way. No dredger was in the way this time and we didn’t have any transmission problems coming into the harbor area. We had our injectors cleaned and serviced by Rafa’s Superior Boat Services. Rafael has broken away from Total Yacht Works (TYW) and has his own shop next door to TYW. In La Paz I made a new leash for our Hydrovane. This helps keep our vane rudder from falling off. The old one was a bit rusty made from regular steel but plastic coated? We used s/s cable on the new one. Just a reminder it looks like the Hawks play New Orleans Saints on Jan 11th at Seattle 1:35pm PST.
