LIGHT WIND sunset on passage to Fiji from New Zealand.

To Code Blue – Folks 6-5-16 Sunday

We had light winds many times in the passage from New Zealand to Fiji. The light wind photo near sunset gives you an idea of the conditions.

At Minerva Reef we had a boobie bird visit for several days.

In Savusavu we’re staying at the Copra Shed Marina on a mooring in about 59 feet of water. Suvasuva is the second largest town on the second largest island in Fiji, Vanu Leva.

Friday the 4th we took a mini bus to the largest town on this island, Labasa. Visited the larger market . On the way back we took a larger bus (60 seater). It stopped at an artesian spring and we had a water break for about 10-15 minutes.

Hopefully scuba pictures to show on next entry. I now have a GoPro Hero 4 Silver and have taken a few pictures and finally figured how to down load the pictures. Not great as it is extremely wide angle and no external light.

That looks like a lot of fun, guys! That boobie bird looked pretty cute. The markets and are around Savusavu look great too.
