U Safe – Robot Life Guard

One of the skippers found this on the web. Thought I’d send to you. We’re at our limit of weight and space and beyond but I like the idea. Several models.

U Safe

Emily the robot Life guard

U SAFE is a patented and homologated lifesaver, which works with remote control electronics. Here you can see a rescue in a rocky zone, were it was difficult to send either a person or a vessel. This Video and the U SAFE was developed in collaboration with the Portuguese Navy. Know more at

Here’s a new style of wind generator. 100, 200 or 300 watts for about $300 USD for the 200 watt that was on a boat in Fiji.

Working on getting our auto pilot going again and main boat computer with some success so far. All Points Rally goes until the end of next weekend. They
have a Thanksgiving Dinner at the Opua Cruising Club. Not like the Mexico one in La Paz with over a hundred people and lots of turkey, but pretty good.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Steve and Judy
